Wilmer, Texas' Own Newspaper

I'm no stranger to Wilmer or Wilmer politics, but it's an exciting time for this burgeoning town and it's the right time to finally, once and for all, give the community its own newspaper.

There are, however, a few things to note about this paper:

  • The Wilmer Weekly is a conservative, pro-free market paper
  • The Wilmer Weekly supports the Dallas Logistics Hub and the Inland Port
  • The Wilmer Weekly will not support politicians meddling in this huge development
  • The Wilmer Weekly believes Mayor Jeff Steele is the best addition to the city to come along in a very long time

But, we're also going to be the voice of Wilmer. Citizens are urged and encouraged to send in opinions, viewpoints, letters to the editor, photos of events, school or church news and the like.

This area is too prosperous to throw on the park brake.

The first mission and intent of The Wilmer Weekly is to tell readers first and foremost what is going on at the city council level and what decisions are being made that affect them.

Note: Much is to be changed, added, taken away, etc. But this is an exciting time for this community, as The Weekly will be a newspaper exclusively for the town.
